High Tide Submission Guidelines
●Submissions to the online literary-art journal, High Tide, open to undergraduate students at any institution, all members of the Golden Isles & South Georgia communities, & all present and former CCGA students, faculty, and staff.
●Submissions categories include poetry, prose, photography, & art.
●Submissions accepted on a rolling basis, meaning that they can be submitted at any time. Summer submissions may not receive a reply until fall.
●Submissions must be original & previously unpublished.
●Submissions must include a 25-75 word bio. Bios should be written in third person (ex: “Jane Doe is a CEO” not “I am a CEO”) and may include interests, major/career, previous publications (if any), and anything else you would like to mention.
●All entries should be emailed to seaswells@ccga.edu.
●The email subject line should state "High Tide Submission" and the category: poetry, prose, art, or photography.
●If submitting in more than one category, compose a separate email for each category.
●Body of email must include submission title(s), writer/artist name, email, contact number, bio, and affiliation (present or former CCGA student, faculty, or staff, Golden Isles or South GA community member, or undergraduate at another institution).
●All poetry and prose must be attached as .doc or .docx files.
●All photography and art must be attached as high-quality digital files, at least 1MB/300dpi.
●Each person may submit up to 5 entries in each category.
●We may title untitled submissions (specify if you prefer untitled)
●No entry fee, but we recommend you donate to the Glynn Community Crisis Center or America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. For more information click here.
