Mariners Matter is an online Staff Recognition Program that allows faculty and staff to recognize exceptional staff members, via email, for their hard work and dedication to the mission of the College of Coastal Georgia.
To create a culture of caring that encourages first-class customer service, builds relationships, promotes positive practices, and enhances campus life for all stakeholders.

What Happens if I Receive an Email?
- Your supervisor will receive a copy of the email.
- Your name will be printed on the back of the next Staff Assembly Agenda.
- You will be asked to stand (for recognition) at the next Staff Assembly meeting.
- You will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Bookstore gift card. One Mariner will be selected, at random, at each Staff Assembly meeting. Note: You can only win once per semester.
- The email will be submitted for consideration if you receive a nomination for the Outstanding Staff Member Award.
