Here, you will see that the Intercultural Resource Center (IRC) is not only a physical space located in the Student Activity Center, but is also the center of support for our ALANAM (African-American/Black, Latino/Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American, Alaskan Native and Multiracial) communities and the convener of student diversity education campus-wide.
It is intended as a social and educational resource space, were students can hangout with friends, meet with organization leaders, study, learning about tutoring, and mental health support.
Programs from the IRC include:
- the 901 Collective: Network groups for individuals who identify as a man and or women. Who are looking to connect with other students across race and gender. Groups meet bi-weekly starting Fall 2020. Stay tuned for the schedule
- Cultural Celebrations & Heritage Months
- Mariner Mentoring Program: This program partners first year students with Juniors & Seniors to help them navigate the first year of college. For more information on the program email email@example.com
